    Amongst the millions of words being written about the US Presidential election it is surprising how few main themes emerge. It is not consequently too hard for anyone to sound like an expert….

    You need to work in some telling catch phrases. The near enough to compulsory ones are Mitt Romney’s “narrow pathway” to victory; the “enthusiasm gap” and “changing the dynamic’. The most common reason cited for doubts Mitt Romney can win is what is over and over described as his “narrow pathway” to victory…. There is no need to get your head around the multiple combinations and permutations Romney needs to win. Just say he has to ‘draw an inside straight” or “sweep the table” or “thread the needle”. They seem very different tasks but mean the same – it is going to be hard.
